Please tell me you didn't read the restaurant's name and say, "Wait is this a movie theatre." Though they often have a movie playing, it would be disrespectful to regard them as a movie theatre. This is one of San Francisco's most popular and iconic restaurants for its Old World European cuisine. Even though their dinner is amazing, nothing beats going here for brunch. When talking about historic restaurants there is no way Tadich Grill doesn't come to mind. They are the oldest restaurant in all of California, and the third oldest in the country, with an establishing date of 1849.
